Then 3 Years Later...

Illustrations by Jacqueline Davis Moranti

Ever since January of 2012, I've been sharing with the world my views of fashion and my daily on goings. When I started this blog, I didn't think that I would be able to keep up with it but it has pushed me over my the invisible limitations I thought I had. Burgundy Whispers has grown so much since then, and so have I. I'm so excited for what Burgundy Whispers has brought me and looking forward to what it will bring in 2015.

This past year for Burgundy Whispers was filled with a lot of fun and new things such as new friends, new opportunities, new job perspectives and new skills. Some of the highlights... my art exhibits, my Fox29 interview, Made In America collab, Gap collab, Casetify designs and my new job venture! I usually make a list out of things I want to accomplish but rather than focusing on little things, I've realized that I want to improve on the overall picture. Rather than saying that I want to do more of this or take more of that I want to be a better version of myself by discovering new things and places, learning new material, meeting new people and developing new talents.

This year I want to take more time to sketch my ideas out more and write them down. I want to contemplate more and learn how to be my own best friend. I want to build a beautiful connection with my mind, paper and pencil. A pure stream of consciousness to reach the goals I have set for myself this year. Most of us spend our early twenties jagged and finding ourselves after a few years of that you realize there's no more time for procrastination. Paying attention to organization and timelines will be a big part of me this year too.

Dear readers, I would love to thank you so much for your support and encouragement, you're all fabulous!
