Concerts.

I was at a a concert recently, whilst there I saw so many fashion faux- pas. At a concert, individuals should dress comfortably since most of the time will be spent dancing erratically or standing. I've never actually been to a music event where there were seats, unless it was a jazz club. That is why wearing heels to a concert is not a smart idea, especially since there are so many cute flat options. Another thing that I saw a lot of, was the mini body- con skirts. I love my body- con skirts but I would never wear them to a concert, I'd worry the whole night that it's riding up, while im dancing, causing me to constantly pull it down. Not an attractive look. Also, I don't think I'll ever understand the reasoning behind clutches, to a concert? I have compiled a few looks that are sure to be comfortable enough to boogie in!

This outfit is fun with a hint of sexy thrown in! i've paired a high- waisted jean with a sequined bandeau top. I know, sequins?! Many think that sequins are only a holiday staple, not quite so especially when artfully paired. The chiffon top gives the right amount of coverage and it's a light material to feel comfortable dancing the night away! The belt helps to show off your waist. As for shoes, I'd go with a a pair of black flats, probably something with the metal detailing to continue the look.

This next outfit consists of another pair of high- waisted jeans, a graphic tee and a button down blouse over top of the tee. Graphic tees are perfect for concerts, they're comfortable, stylish, versatile and support the musicians! Usually when I wear graphic tees, I like to pair it with some jewelry to make it more interesting and not too "I just rolled out of bed" look. I'd pair this look with a nice pair of metallic flats or sandals.

And now to break away from the black and white! This outfit would be perfect for music festivals (Coachella, Electric Daisy, Electric Zoo)! A pair of bright green high- waisted shorts and a fun printed tank. I believe high- waisted jeans or shorts are great options since you don't have to worry about a certain butt crack incident or under garments peeking through, whilst your dancing away. Plus, high- waisted options flatter many body shapes! This outfit would look great with an awesome pair of sandals, like a fun blue shade to compliment the blue buttons on the shorts and in the shirt. All of these outfits would look great with cross- body bags, backpacks and even the more modern fanny packs! There's so many ways to be stylish and comfortable at a concert, hopefully these tips helped!

I am having a lot of fun this season wearing prints! Prints on prints or prints by it's self is a great way to wear the trend this season. Experimenting with prints is my goal for this year!

Empty Night Skies.

Dress: Forever21, Vest: DIY, Belt and Bag: H&M, Booties, Steve Madden via Shoemint, Jewelry and Sunnies: Forever21

There was an art show opening reception at a local cafe, where my lovely boyfriend was featured! It was the perfect opportunity to dress contemporary, trendy. Art events usually call for an eclectic crowd of people, so it's nice to show your personality through what you wear. I chose to wear this printed sheath dress, it's so fun and it called my inner bohemian! I paired it with this olive vest for more comfort, it was sure to be a chilly evening. The accessories help edge out the outfit!

I just had to throw a picture of my boyfriend. Styled by me!

I am a lover of prints, especially enlarged prints! They're so much fun to mix and match with! Prints have been all the rage for the spring and summer 2012 season especially with big fashion houses like Versace and Diane Von Furstenburg. There are so many fun and wacky prints to choose from, but I always gravitate towards florals!

The Alternative.

Blazer: Heritage, Blouse: H&M, Pants: Gap, Pumps: Forever21, Jewelry: Forever21 and Pacsun

I think that pastel colored pants are a great alternative to the basic white. Don't get me wrong, I love my white skinnies, but I think this pale pink will be more frequented in rotation this season to try new things with! Pink and neutrals, pink and brights, pink and metallics, pink in monotones, oh the combinations to pair!

Tropical Heat.

Top and Shoes: Forever21, Skirt: Thrifted, Belt: H&M, Jewelry: Forever21

The weather has been so temperamental here, one day its a chilly 50 degree day, then the next it's a high 80 degree day. I made sure to take advantage of this warm day! I love this skirt, it's so fun and comfortable and it makes me want to go to the caribbean! It was given to me by my mom. I get a lot of my clothes that way, what can I say, my mother had a great sense of style!

High- waisted shorts are one of my absolute favorite essentials! They add a really nice retro- glamour to  any wardrobe. I also can't seem to escape my fascination with the color mint green!

Date Night.

Have you ladies ever just sit in front of your closet and wonder what to wear for a date with someone you really wanted to impress?! I know I have, and I'm hoping I can sort of ease your woes. The thing with date nights is that, even if it's not the first date with this person you still want to look just as great as you did the first date, you still want that "wow" factor. First and foremost, I should state that these are only my silly opinions. I believe that the first few dates should show 20 to 0% of skin, too much skin seems like your're revealing too much of yourself, way too soon. You want mr. right to wonder about you, not know you within the first 10 minutes of meeting you!

All of these outfits show skin in one way or another but it a smart classy way that doesn't mean your revealing too much. Top- left outfit shows off toned abs in a cropped, sweater. Paired with a high waisted, maxi skirt, printed with enlarged florals, very on trend this season with a statement necklace to top it off! The next outfit, top- right, shows off your body in a  nude colored, body suit. It's the perfect amount of tease! it is paired under a polka- dot maxi skirt, that has a slit that ends right above the knee. The bottom- left outfit has a flirtatious flair to it! A lace dress over a chartreuse tee dress, both minis, meaning time to show off those legs! I also put a chartreuse scarf on top to accentuate the color more while the belt and necklace compliment it, with blues and greens.  The last outfit, bottom- right, is my favorite! It's an off- white, maxi dress that has a sheer overlay on top of a mini slip, that also shows off your legs. I have a silky, kimono jacket and a beaded necklace to add some more interest to the dress. Can't wait to wear these out!
I hope that I may have been able to help out any frustrations!
