Summer Prints

With summer coming to a close, the weather is getting to be cooler and cloudier. The days are much shorter and the humidity isn't nearly as burdensome! Don't let the nostalgia of summer trip you, enjoy it while you can! I'm going to enjoy it to the very end, with a ton of white separates, floral patterns and beautiful Philadelphian gardens!

You know that saying, "You don't wear white after Labor Day," it's just a silly rule in the world of fashion and in that world, rules are meant to be broken! I wear white all year long despite what others may think. White has a way of elevating any outfit, it's equally as sleek as wearing all black!

Pairing white pieces with prints is one of my favorite combinations, it focuses the attention on the printed piece. It's like a white, blank canvas, waiting to be painted on with a contrasting streak of color. This skirt by Club Monaco feels like the perfect pairing because the background of the print is white, creating a distinct color variation with the textile.

Just because the Summer season is ending, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy the last couple of weeks with fun warm weather fashion! Experiment with your white separates and see what new ensembles you can come up with! Dear readers, how will you enjoy the rest of your Summer fashions?
