Greyed Out

I have a strange way of thinking, I like to refresh and restart seasons by cleansing my color palette and to do so, I tend to start off with neutral colors. Grey is one of the best colors to experiment with, you can mix and match it with dark, bold, bright, soft, intense or light colors and it will not take away from the additives. That's what makes grey such a great base to play with.

This was definitely one of my lazy day outfits, I wanted a no fuss look and the easiest way for me to do so is by keeping it simple with a neutral base. This grey cashmere blend dress was the perfect solution, easy and comfortable. Since the start of Spring here in Philadelphia has been quite a chilly one, a jacket and scarf was definitely needed. I know it's quite popular to wear hosiery and tights, this time of the year, but to be completely honest, I prefer bare legs. Tall socks will do!

dress: Club Monaco, jacket: Gap(similar), scarf: borrowed, sunnies: C/O Firmoo, socks: American Apparel(similar), boots: Forever21(similar), jewels: C/O Berricle, gifted

On days that that are packed with errands and things that need to get done, I waste no time in thinking about what color or accessory to match with this piece or that piece, I stick with my basics and I'm out the door! Dear readers, I'd love to hear about your "lazy day" ensembles, do you also go with neutral as a base Like I do?
