Top & Tights: H&M, Skirt, Legwarmers, Bracelets, and Earrings: F21, Necklaces: Lucky Brand, Booties: Shoemint

If i'm not wearing sripes, I also tend to to wear some sort of shape. This skirt reminds me of the mod look from the 60's era, which I completely love! I'm such a neutrals gal, brown and black is my go to color combination, my mind automatically just thinks browns and blacks. These tights I thought were a perfect match for the skirt, since it also plays with shapes. I like to layer necklaces especially when I'm wearing such a basic top to offset it's plainness! This pair of boots are probably my most comfortable pair, sometimes I forget I'm wearing them. If you haven't tried Shoemint, you really should! Btw, I'm not a sponsor for them at all, I just genuinely love their products!

                                                                             Xoxo,
                                                                                 Jacqui

New Faves

I don't know if any of you have heard of Shoemint, but it's one of my new favorite places to get shoes from! Shoemint works like a monthly, exclusive club where you can choose from a limited amount of designer shoes for a very affordable price. Not only that, Shoemint works with Steve Madden, the shoe designer extraordinaire! Which means the shoes are made with great materials, precision and a lot of love! The curators of the collection are Rachel Bilson and her stylist, Nicole Chavez. I love Rachel's style!

The pair shown here, is called the Pauline, in wine suede. Any color that is remotely similar to burgundy, I absolutely love! It's a great color that can be paired with a lot of other colors, such as browns, blacks, and blues. I'm a big color blocking enthusiast. Wedge booties are also super comfortable and can be worn with a variety of outfits. Be sure to keep a look out for these bad boys in upcoming posts!

Xoxo,
Jacqui

Next styling session

I'm currently working on creating a more professional styling portfolio, my current one features all the outfits on my mannequin. This time I'm using actual models, a lot more fun this way! With the next shoot I want to do a very bohemian, girly look... I think it's what my friends say I look like the most. Alot of fringe, suede and chevron shapes, as you can see in my sketches. I'm really excited to work on this!

These are shots of the key items I will use for the shoot. Most of them I've found in Forever21, some of them are thrifted.

Xoxo,
Jacqui
