Fashion Festival

After years and years of music festivals, I know exactly what I like to wear to them and what I don't like. The idea of less being more, is actually very appealing to me, I take my minimalism serious and infuse it with a bit of the free spirited bohemian inside of me! Not only that, but I like to be inspired by my past travels and musical influences. This time, I'm introducing a pop of color especially with my new favorite crop top by Primark. So here is my new take on festival dressing in collaboration with Primark, inspired by a few of my recent musical concerts because fashion and music go hand in hand for me! It's a must that I be able to dance the night away in whatever I'm wearing!

For look one, I tend to think of it as quite 70's with the high waisted, wide legged, printed pants and cropped mustard, shell top. ABBA, The Jackson 5 and Fleetwood Mac have been quite an influence with me, both music and fashion wise. I grew up listening to their music and of course their showmanship and styling on stages. I still listen to them often and other similar artists so incorporating wide legged pants and sweater shells feels effortless to me, music festival or not! Comfort is a key factor into everything I wear especially when dressing for a music festival, these wide legged pants and crop top from Primark are next to nothing and keep you going and of course dancing all day!

For look number two, I wanted to mix up the shell top with a high waisted short to really give it a different look. High waisted shorts always seem to remind me of my travels to hot destinations, more specifically the caribbean. These shorts from Primark provide me with the utmost comfort and hugs all of my curves to dance all day and the booties ensure that my toes are free from the dirt that gets kicked around at music festivals, if you've gone to one then you know what I mean! Bands like Chicano Batman and Menudo create something beautiful with those Latin American guitar sounds. At a music festival, I want to dance like how I would dance in the heat on a beach with my imaginary Latin boyfriend. A dash of spice and perplexity always needs to be incorporated into my festival fashion!
