Beauty Bit, InstaNatural

Illustrated by Jacqueline Davis Moranti

Have you ever had one of those days where you thought it would never end? You're tired and groggy, all you want to do is relax to the soothing sounds of Fakear and a nice bottle of Merlot on hand, while kicking off your booties. Another option is to go to a spa and enjoy a nice facial or massage. Every once in a while I like to enjoy a nice temple rub with aromatherapy oils but too often and it can cause a dent in your pockets! So I sought out for another way to enjoy the spa experience at home, that's when I found InstaNatural's products

Powered by Brand Backer, opinions completely my own

For a the past couple of weeks, I have been adding InstaNatural to my skin care regime, more specifically the Retinol Serum, the Retinol Moisturizer and the Dead Sea Mud Mask. This winter has been brutally cold with harsh conditions and because of it, my skin has been drier than usual. InstaNatural has helped my skin combat the terrible weather conditions by infusing it with rich moisture.

I like to start of with a freshly cleansed face before I apply the Dead See Mud Mask. I love facial masks, it's a necessary part of your skin care regime in which it adds a little extra that we don't do every day. It doesn't have to happen often like cleansing but if used at least once a week, your skin will thank you. My favorite part about this mask is that it's made with organic ingredients and really cleans out your pores. Once applied it can be left on for 15 minutes, I leave it on until its completely dry then wipe it off with a face towel. The minerals from this mask come from the Dead Sea, in the Mediterranean. Sloughs off toxins and dirt from your skin to reveal vibrant and rejuvenated skin.

The next product I use after the mask is the Retinol Serum. People always ask me why I use serums and I answer with the simple remark that it's the best way to infuse your skin with antioxidants and your skin retains serums much more than moisturizers alone. With ingredients like hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, vitamin c and e you'll be amazed at how great your skin looks after several uses. I use this product twice a day and I only use a nickel sized dollop for my face and neck. The serum blends in quickly and does not leave you feeling greasy. This product truly helps me beat the winter chill!

After the serum you can't forget to moisturize. The Retinol Moisturizer helps restore the skin to it's natural elation. Unclogs pores, fights blemishes, evens out your complexion, all while hydrating your skin! The only thing with this product is that it does not contain SPF, for those of you not familiar with retinol, it has a tendency to make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Always pair this moisturizer with a sunscreen when applying it in the morning. I normally have overzealous, oily skin, so oily people constantly ask me why i'm sweating! By using this product, the oil over -production on my face has cleared up significantly. I can finally use makeup the right way!

If you're looking for a way to switch up your skin care for this winter I would totally recommend to look no further than InstaNatural. It helps to pack your skin with the moisture it loses in this extreme Winter season. These products make for an enjoyable at home spa facial. Dear readers, how do you try to acquire the at home spa experience? Have you tried any of these products before, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
