Grey Matter

Lately, I'm having to go from one place to another much more frequently. Good thing about Philadelphia, is that a lot of places are fairly close to each other, but when they aren't, being on your feet can get quite uncomfortable. Sneakers have been my best friends as of late, and surprisingly very versatile

Minimalist pieces have really captured my attention. I still love my fun, fabulous and outrageous pieces but because I have been engrossed in so much, comfortable comes to the forefront. Just because something is comfortable, does not mean you have to sacrifice fashion! Maxi dresses, they haven't been too kind to me but with a little bit of alteration they look just as great on the vertically challenged ladies. Between meetings, art drop offs, and concerts (Flying Lotus, on this particular day) being in relaxed clothing is a major must!

"Comfort is key," my latest mantra to remind me that heels are not everything. Plus avoiding plantar fasciitis is never out of style! I live in sneakers and help me move throughout the city in a smooth pace. Although, I'll admit I still walk around with heels in my bag just in case an occasion will arise that calls for it. You have to be prepared for anything! Dear readers, how do you stay comfortable whilst being busy?

Also, to any fellow readers in the Philadelphia area, tomorrow 10/18 evening, there will be an opening reception for the exhibit i'm participating in, Art Nude Philly. I'd love to see you there!
