Slinky Silk

Technically, there are still two weeks of the Summer season left, but it's the time of the season where the weather can be quite unpredictable. Some days are bright and humid, others are cool and breezy which makes for the perfect time to experiment with ensembles! This is the time to mix and match your summer pieces with fun Fall items to make the transition smoothly.

I love to take feminine pieces and commingle them with edgier items like this gorgeous printed dress from emploi New York. I paired it with an asymmetrical leather vest to loosen up it's "dainty" look. In fashion, opposites totally attract!
Shift dresses, like this one, are fantastic pieces in our wardrobes that can be used in multiple ways. As soon the the weather goes in to a chill state i'm planning on throwing a chambray button down underneath it to give it a different look or even a solid turtleneck.

dress: C/O emploi New York, vest: Zara (similar), shoes: Shoemint (similar), jewelry:  Berricle, Forever21, Urban Outfitters, thrifted

emploi New York is a brilliant brand for the hard working woman. Sophisticated lines, modern shapes, and comfortable fittings create the most timeless pieces for any woman's closet. The best part about emploi New York is that all of their dresses can go from work to play, and day to night making them very adaptable for any occasion. Who doesn't love a dress that you can wear all year long? I certainly do!
