New Spodee

Illustrated by Jacqueline Davis Moranti

As you may all know I'm a huge fan of Spodee wine. I've never been one to absolutely love alcoholic beverages but Spodee's easy and sweet taste is hard to resist! It combines the best of both worlds with its velvety, red wine taste and hints of chocolatey flavor! One sip of Spodee and you will never question this red wine again! Fortunately, the makers of Spodee have introduced a new variant, Spodee White wine

Style Runner

Illustrated by Jacqueline Davis Moranti

As I am working out, I love to sweat it out to my playlists, on my phone. Unfortunately, not all activewear pieces come with pockets for your phone or music devices, which I find astonishing! Whether you're running a few miles or lifting some weights at the gym, you're going to have to carry something around, usually your phone, keys and even some cash to buy yourself a protein smoothie after your sweat session! You would think that most athletic wear companies would already have that figured out by now. My solution for the longest time would be to stuff my phone in my bra which is less than comfortable most times especially during high intensity training where there was a lot of movement! Oy vey! Finally there's one fashion company that has this problem figured out. It comes in the form of a belt that you can wear around your waist!

Miami Pop and Denim

I recently hosted a fun event with some fabulous bloggers and Urbandaddy at the local Gap store in Philadelphia! It was absolutely fun filled, a big social hour with fashion, food, music and wine! Gap recently introduced their new spring/ summer line for both men and women, in stores. Pastel color blocking, reinvented staples, stripes, bold prints and of course denim! This collection is one not to be missed!

That Trepidation

Illustrated by Jacqueline Davis Moranti

Sometimes facing our demons can be a difficult thing but so many of us allow our fears to rob us of our happiness or worse, stop us from achieving our dreams. A wise person once told me to let go of that feeling and just live your life the way it's meant to be lived without trepidation. I've made up my mind to push forward no matter what gets in the way because playing it safe and trying to avoid failures is not really logical. I've listed a few of my favorite ways to get over my fears. Sometimes, making a list helps me focus on the bigger things at hand!

Swimwear Edit

Illustrated by Jacqueline Davis Moranti

As the unofficial start to summer gets closer and closer, Memorial Day weekend, it seems more pertinent to update that tired swimwear wardrobe you have sitting in your closet from yester year! Many smart people tend to start looking for their bathing suits months before summer, I'm the type that waits for the weather to heat up. Buying swimsuits can be daunting but as long as you stick to what's current then you should be okay. Just like the trends of today, swim wear got a contemporary spin to keep up with them because whether you're planning a trip to the beach with your friends or going to the hottest pool party in town, you will want to make sure you look fun and fashionable! Time to pull out the sun block!

Acceptance

Etched by Jacqueline Davis Moranti (c. 2011)

For a long time, one of my fears was being alone. Honestly it was really my only fear. As an extrovert, I love attention and entertaining others that the thought of not having that was just dreadful. I guess somewhere along the way, I've applied that same feeling to relationships with the opposite gender. You ever get dressed up, put on your red lipstick and poof your hair out so big that it gets a category of it's own, just to go to a park, on a beautiful day, to just cry? Yes, i've been there and done that. Sometimes we need a good cry to realize that life will be alright even if there isn't someone there to affirm how beautiful or how amazing you are because you don't need anyone to tell you that, except for yourself

Outfit Redefined, Active- where

Illustrated by Jacqueline Davis Moranti

If you follow me on Twitter, you may remember me tweeting out that I was going to have to get really creative with how I present my outfit posts, sans dslr. I'm artistic, a pencil pusher and a designer, so naturally illustrating my looks would be the way to go! This method also pushes me to draw more, which I need more of!

Tastemakers, Kristen Stewart

Illustrated by Jacqueline Davis Moranti

Some of you may know this starlet from the Twilight movie series, but for me, I remember seeing her in some of her earlier acting roles like The Messengers, Panic Room or Cold Creek Manor before she transformed into Bella Swan. Of course I'm talking about Kristen Stewart! I've become quite accustomed to her style choices, from Chuck Taylors with gowns to head-to-toe metallic separates, she really knows how to make herself stand out. Definitely a girl after my own heart! How can you not love a woman who opts for sneakers and flats over a shiny pair of Louboutins?!
